In the Anglican Church, these matters have come to a head over the issue of the blessing of same-sex unions, to the extent that a small group of Canadian Anglicans called the Anglican Network in Canada has accepted Episcopal oversight from a province in South America, the Southern Cone, where the traditional beliefs are still held, as they are in 70% of the worldwide Anglican communion.
