The Anglican Network in Ottawa - ANiO - is a committee of the Anglican Gathering of Ottawa.
It was created by a resolution at the 2nd AGM of Anglican Essentials Ottawa, 30 Oct 2006.
The mission of ANiC applies equally well to ANiO:
"Through God's grace, to permeate our Canadian Church and culture locally with an apostolic Christianity that is in full communion with biblically faithful Anglicanism world-wide." |
Original goal, now overtaken by ANiC processes: Through God's grace, to provide ecclesial structure in case the Anglican Church of Canada or any of its dioceses "walk apart" (the Windsor Report). |
This would be done in step with initiatives on the part of ANiC.
The members of the ANiO committee are listed here. The committee
meets monthly to pray, brainstorm, plan, organize and educate ourselves.
