Anglican Gathering of Ottawa
The Anglican Gathering of Ottawa does not require you to fill in forms to attend events such as "Anglican Gatherings" which we organize from time to time. We recommend you check out this website and its links on a regular basis to obtain information about such events. If you would like to become a member of the Anglican Gathering of Ottawa you need (a) to join the Anglican Network in Canada (ANiC), b) live within the geographic boundaries of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa and c) apply to become members by contacting us and requesting it (see "Contact Us" page). If you would like to be on our mailing list and communicate on a semi-regular basis we would like to hear from you, regardless of where you live.
At this time the AGO is most earnestly asking for your moral support. If you feel drawn to the attitudes expressed in these pages, please do not just pass by. Good men and women must act, and we ask that you act in the first instance by joining ANiC, and our local membership. This would be of the greatest encouragement to those who are here awaiting you.
One of the most accessible tools to understand the background to our current situation in the North American churches is the 20-minute DVD "Choose this Day," which can be viewed under "Reference" on this web site, and may be ordered direct from the Anglican Communion Network in Pittsburg, tel 412-325-8900. Copies are available for loan in Ottawa - call Tony Copple at 613-591-3903 or e-mail. This is ideal for showing to people who want to know more.
